Day 1 – Arrive in Cochin (For Group transfer arrival time needs to be between 9 AM – 12 PM only)
Arrive in Cochin (For Group transfer arrival time needs to be between 9 AM – 12 PM only) On arrival at Cochin you will be greeted by our representative and then transferred to your hotel. After you’ve checked-in, take time to freshen up and wear your walking shoes for an exciting sightseeing tour of the city. Our first stop of the day is the Kerala Folklore Museum at Kochi where you will find beautifully preserved cultural heritage of South India. The second stop is at the Fort Kochi Beach where you can walk along the amazing shoreline. Enjoy the waves on your feet and breeze in your hair and end the beautiful day with a sight of the sun setting. Last we stop to see Chinese fishing nets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Drive from Cochin to Munnar (135 km/approx. 4 hours)
Today, check out and proceed to Munnar and En route, visit the lovely Athirapally waterfalls which is one of the beautiful waterfalls in India. You can reach the top of the waterfall by 5 minutes’ walk from the main road. Munnar a beautiful hill station town tucked away in the Western Ghats is a large expanse of mountains, greenery, tea plantations, wildlife, and valleys. On arrival in Munnar, check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure breathing in the cool mountain air of Munnar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 – Sightseeing in Munnar
In the morning, get set for a truly beautiful stint in Munnar. Start your excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is the most prominent attraction of this region. Spread over a vast 97 square kilometers Eravikulam National Park is home to many rare and endangered species of animals such as the Nilgiri Tahr. Next, we take you to visit the Tea Museum (closed on Monday), which gives an insight into the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, a concrete dam built to produce hydroelectricity. The next stops are Echo Point and Flower Garden. After a day of some lovely sightseeing, return to your hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (110 km/approx. 3 hours)
Check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (Periyar). On arrival at Thekkady, check in to your hotel. Thekkady has the most stunning line of uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity and spice plantations. Best known for the Periyar National Park that is home to wild elephants and also a thick forest cover that remains impenetrable even to sunlight. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise (on direct payment) at Periyar Lake in Thekkady. This is a great way of seeing animals in their natural habitat roaming around freely. If you are lucky, you may get to see lots of elephants playing around the lake and also other animals like black and regular monkeys, wild pigs, deers, and wild-buffaloes. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 – Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey (180 km/approx. 4 hours)
Today we check out of our hotel in Thekkady and drive to Alleppey, the land of the gorgeous Kerala backwaters. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 6 – Drive from Alleppey to Cochin (For Group transfers departure flight has to be between 12 PM – 3 PM)
After breakfast, checkout of your hotel and proceed to Cochin Airport to board the return flight.
