4 Nights / 5 Days Nainital & Jim Corbett Tour
Day 1 – Delhi – Nainital (298 km/ approx. 7 hours)
On arriving at Delhi railway station/airport/hotel/home, you will be picked up and driven to Nainital via Bhimtal, Sattal, and Naukuchiatal. If time permits, you can also visit Hanuman Garhi (a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman). Visit Bhimtal Lake, the largest in Kumaon and provides water for drinking and aquaculture purposes. Naukuchiatal (also known as the ‘lake of nine corners’) is a beautiful region surrounded by natural beauty scenic views, while Sattal is a cluster of seven lakes situated at a height of 1,370 m. Then drive to Nainital, check-in at the hotel and have a good stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Nainital Sightseeing
Have a delicious breakfast and get ready to spend the day amidst the famous lakes of Nainital. You will visit Naini Peak, Himalaya View Point, Cave Garden, Tiffin Top, Snow View, Mall Road and Nainital Lake (boat ride at your own cost). Situated at an elevation of about 2,611 m, Naini Peak is known to be one of the largest peaks in Nainital and offers stunning vistas of the snow-capped Himalayan Peaks. Make a visit to the Cave Garden that comprises inter-connected caves where animals would reside. Behold the beautiful Nainital Lake, formed in the shape of a crescent and standing as one of the many popular tourist attractions in Nainital. Get to the Tiffin Top and enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings, before heading to the Mall Road for indulging in shopping and relishing tasty local food. Arrive at the hotel by evening and gorge on a delectable dinner, before you retire for the night.
Day 3 – Nainital – Corbett (149 km/ 4 hrs)
After a filling breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Jim Corbett National Park. Also, visit Dhikala Lake and Corbett Waterfalls (if it is running). Bask in the serene atmosphere and beauty of Dhikala Lake and go on to witness the gorgeous Corbett Waterfalls that roars in sync with the sounds of chirping birds. Later on, check-in at the hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner and have a pleasant sleep.
Day 4 – Corbett National Park Safari
Early in the morning at 6 AM, you will embark upon an exciting elephant safari or Jeep safari in the core area of the park. You may also opt to go in the afternoon (between 2 to 5 PM) at your own cost (or we can also arrange an extra cost). Enjoy a fascinating ride through the vast jungle and try spotting various fauna and avifauna. If you are lucky, you might even spot a tiger or leopard cat. After a fun-filled safari tour, savor a sumptuous dinner back at the hotel and rest the night away.
Day 5 – Corbett – Delhi (278 km / 6 hours) End of Tour
Relish a yummy breakfast and drive to Delhi. Then head to Delhi railway station/airport or your desired location for your journey back home.
